You don't have to go out on the lake, but if you're in trouble, we do.No matter what the weather is like, when we receive a call-out that someone is in trouble, we have to go. YOU DON’T. Always check local weather conditions before you leave the dock. If you are out on the lake and you notice darkening clouds, changing winds, or sudden drops in temperature, play it safe by getting off the water.
Your MOST IMPORTANT safety device:Every time we go out for safety promotion or training, we see people on passing boats NOT wearing their life jackets.
